The association Cerchio delle Abilità
was founded by the will of some parents to adopt the method
"CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION"
to provide concrete support to their children, affected by motor disabilities.
Conductive Education is a rehabilitative method that originated in Hungary thanks to Professor Andras Petö, known and practiced all over the world. It is an educational approach aimed at children and adults with motor disorders and provides concrete help in managing everyday life. Using simple strategies, individuals are taught how to achieve what they want, motivating them through group work. The movement, sensory, and cognitive skills are stimulated simultaneously through active participation, motivation, and independence.

The activity is aimed at children with motor disabilities (tetraparesis or spastic paresis, diatonic paresis…) resulting from brain damage.
Conductive Pedagogy is a process based on the intuition that children with motor disabilities follow a process of development and learning similar to that of typically developing children.
It theorizes that it is necessary to provide disabled children with proper direction and guidance, aimed at daily practice.
The child is thus accompanied (guided) in carrying out those activities and daily experiences common to all children.
In conductive pedagogy, the need to treat the child as a whole and in relation to their own life context is not the consequence or the end point, but rather the starting point: the patient becomes the main actor in their own recovery.

a continuous stimulation to active and conscious cooperation ensures the participation of those directly involved and guarantees them adequate motivation through the process of learning and acquiring new skills.
The management and simultaneous stimulation of movement, language, and mental abilities (such as concentration, memory, etc., without neglecting education in sphincter control), all carried out in constant contact and interaction with other participants (group activities), is a source of positive emotions and motivations for the participants.

Conductive Education as support for the family:
Conductive pedagogy represents for parents a concrete support and reference in the educational process and in the daily management of their child with motor disabilities.
The education is aimed at learning functional activities of daily life (washing, dressing, eating, etc.), and gives great importance to the human and relational dimension because it encourages different interpersonal relationships:
within a peer group
with siblings and classmates
with adults
